NFD’s on site rail facility enables us to buy directly from the producer which cuts out the middleman and enables us to pass our freight savings directly to our customers.

As experts in the produce, seafood and meat industries, the NFD is constantly on guard to protect our supply chain. Our commitment to quality not only includes product inspections upon receiving, but also when they are picked for shipping to our customers. Our receiving and shipping policies meet our industry standards to ensure quality for our partners. We stand behind the quality of our products.
National Food Distributors will handle all of your cargo needs with their Traffic and Logistics Department. Our logistics experts work directly with clients to optimize service by developing and implementing customized transportation solutions including specialized equipment and handling.
Trucking
NFD is equipped with a new fleet of refrigerated trucks and trailers. All trucks are radio dispatched and equipped with global satellite positioning and routing systems. NFD is available six days a week with delivery six days a week. We deliver Monday through Saturday, 52 weeks a year, to ensure that our clients receive the products they need on time and with the quality they expect.
For more than 20 years NFD has partnered with growers as a direct receiver, and with packers as a direct distributor.
